My mom, Kathy, runs a small art and framing gallery in Salt Lake City called Sego Art and Frame. She is a well renounced artist in Utah, and her staff does a phenomenal job framing. If you or your family ever need artwork or framing, please give her a shot at your business. She is extremely generous, and I often tell her she needs to quit giving things out for half of what they are worth.

She's framed almost everything I have in my apartment, including all of our college degrees, a huge picture of the Tetons, and other family valuables that we have hanging on the wall. They do an excellent job.

Utes Featured on Video Game Cover

The 2008-2009 University of Utah football team obviously had a great season, crushing the team down south in the final game of the regular season. Then, they shut up 90% of the national media by dominating Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. In the wake of such a great season, a very popular video game called "NCAA Football" is featuring the Utes on the cover of their 2009 release. This is huge for future recruiting.

It's awesome that the Utes are finally getting the respect that they deserve. People are starting to realize that teams outside the so-called BCS conference can actually, in fact, be better than those inside.

Even Engineers Can Dance

Neal and I conducted an experiment last week where we needed to know exactly where we were at a given time. The challenge was to keep both of us moving on a particular path, walking at the exact same speed. As we thought about how to do this, we had the idea that if we turned on some music and took pre-defined steps to the beat, we could keep ourselves in sync. Check it out:

Sushi Bites are Too Big

I really like sushi, especially with wasabi. The problem is they cut those bites way too big. If I try to cut them in half, or bite off half of a piece, everything falls apart. When I eat the whole thing, my mouth is so full it makes me want to gag. Cmon yo.
